SiteGround ABT

4. SiteGround

SiteGround is another great web hosting choice when it comes to cheap WordPress hosting. It has successfully built a strong reputation among all other competitors. SiteGround has gained an immense exposure, and success within a few last years and the credit goes to its high performance and great uptime. Moreover, it also offers managed WordPress hosting on all plans that means it will automatically update your WordPress site without any action needed from your side.

The cheapest plan at SiteGround starts at $11.95 $3.95/m, also known as StartUp. This plan gives you all essential hosting features you will ever need to run one online site with 10 GB storage. If you want to avail more premium features and unlimited websites then you would probably look at Growbig and GoGeek plans.

Remember that you will have to buy a domain separately as SiteGround no longer offers free domain.

The only point that might deter your interest in SiteGround is their renewal price which is slighter higher as compare to other cheap WordPress hosts.

Signup with SiteGround $3.95/m

  • Free website migration
  • Highest possible uptime
  • Free auto installer apps

Namecheap hosting

5. Namecheap

Namecheap is also popularly known for its cheap WordPress hosting. Other than core domain registration service, Namecheap also offers affordable WordPress and shared hosting solutions. As the name says, Namecheap prices are actually cheap and so affordable. Just like other hosts, it also commits to providing excellent hosting service along with the latest technology and 100% uptime.

As far as Namecheap’s hosting packages are concerned, the STELLAR plan starts at $2.88/m. That means if you buy the annual plan, the total costs would be only $24.88 with one free domain, WhoisGuard subscription and 50 positive SSL certificates for a whole year.

Moreover, you can host 3 websites with their stellar package. Namecheap also offers free website migration which is a bonus.

When comparing it with another cheap WordPress hosting, Namecheap’s price is unbeatable. However, it is still not the best hosting provider and it still lacks in performance.

Signup Today!

Namecheap features;

  • Unmetered bandwidth
  • Hosts 3 websites on the first package
  • 20 GB disk space
  • Free domain name
  • 50 free positive SSL certificate
  • 30-days money back guarantee
  • Softaculous app installer
  • Backups twice a week

My recommendation: Personally, I’ve had great success with these hosting companies. If you’re looking for WordPress hosting for a business site which provides fast loading website, good customer and great features, then InMotion is probably the better choice plus they allow two sites on basic plan. On the other hand, Bluehost is best if you are looking for web hosting in pricing because it’s slightly cheaper.

Final Words

Instead of saving some dollars for hosting, Go for some reliable, trusted, and cheap WordPress hosting.

Out of all the hosting companies I tried. I found InMotion, Bluehost , and A2Hosting to be the best one and cheapest WordPress hosting.

InMotion is amazing because of their quality service and low price. Their support team is amazing in comparison with Bluehost. I’m also using this web host and will suggest you to go for InMotion because they are cheap in price and high in quality. Bluehost is good if you want to signup for 36 months period; you can save good money.

Similarly, A2hosting also offers great quality wordpress hosting and super fast server speed at affordable rates.

Never go for very cheap WordPress hosting which costs less than $1-2/month. You might save some big money but, later your site will face downtime and you will start losing potential visitors.

So if you are going to start a new venture and wants to earn some dollars you have to be serious and take a decision. You can go with my recommendation which is InMotion.

Good luck with your new affordable WordPress hosting company for your new blog!

Do let me know which WordPress Hosting you are using? Have you used any of the hosting companies I mentioned above?

Share your experience with such low cost WordPress hosting companies.

  1. Hello ammar ali. My name is usman Shaikh and I’m currently using GoDaddy hosting for my website. This hosting lacks at speed and space. Similarly it’s not cheap.thanks for great article and I’m looking forward to migrate my web to inmotion.

  2. Hey AMMAR,
    Awesome share.!!!!!!!!
    Really amazing article.
    It’s helped me a lot.
I have been searching for such an informative post for many days and it seems my search just ended here. Good work. Keep posting.
Thank you for sharing this and looking forward to learning more from this blog.
    Keep blogging.

  3. I agree with SiteGround and InMotion being on the list, but I think BlueHost’s pricing is a bit misleading because you have to sign up for 3 years to get the discounted “monthly” rate.

I like SiteGround’s simple plan structure, but with they didn’t permanently have a “special offer” on so that the price appears to be 60% off, until it’s time to renew of course. Thankfully they don’t do that with your VPS hosting packages, which I’m looking into upgrading to.

  4. Hi AMMAR,
As you told godaddy is worst for hosting, can you please tell me how it will be worst? In which ways? Your suggestion will be very important for me for choosing best hosting provider.
    Thanks.

  5. Hello Ammar,

Great compilation of cheap WordPress hosting companies but of great quality. I personally used these web hosts but currently tied up with Bluehost.

I find Bluehost as the most reliable hosting for all my sites. Big savings and customer support is exceptional.

SiteGround on the otherhand , is also good but for the renewal it cost you a lot. However, if you are concern about the speed of your website or blog then SiteGround is one of the best option.

    Thank you so much.

    ~Rod

  6. We all know the importance of web host on which our blogs are hosted.

These web hosts are the backbone of our online business, so choosing them wisely is much more important. Choosing a wrong web host can results in so much loss in your online business.

According to my personal experience, Bluehost and Siteground are those web hosts on which you can trust easily without having any fear of loss.

Either way, Thanks for sharing this article with us. :D

  7. Hi Ammar,

Great article. I’m currently using siteground for my blog. In siteground plans, they mention that this is suitable for certain monthly visits. But, I’ve seen that the inmotion hosting didn’t mention it. Are there any limitations in monthly visits on inmotion hosting plans?

    And, Thanks for the post.

  8. i can’t understand these spaces, just wanted to know that what will be your recommendation for a blog which is getting 50K per day and what will be there monthly charges.

  9. Hello, Ammar!!

  10. Hi AMMAR,
Thanks to introducing with these 3 boss hosting providers! I use Bluehost to host my all sites. Although I used another 2 hosting providers also to take the taste. But I like Bluehost all time and me happy with it.

  11. hi friends,
I recommend to get your hands on Bluehost.com first because they provide more great support and features. i used this hosting services from long time for my own blog .so i suggest you to used a bluehost.com

  12. Hi Ammar,
I want to know whether indian hosting like bluehost.in or hostgator.in are any better?? because as of now i dont have any source of international transaction to go for bluehost.com or hostgator.com . I am planning to start a new blog and i am in a pinch as to which to choose between the two!!
your help will be highly appreciated!! thank you!!

  13. If you ask me or suggest me these two of wordpress hosting providers. I definitely choose Bluehost over InMotion. I like they support and also the interface they offer to manege wordpress blogs easily with single click.

Choosing a domain name and web-hosting is a very crucial part of blogging or any online business, so when a person need to choose something he/she should choose wisely. I really appreciate your efforts for putting this information here.

  14. Hii Ammar Sir, Really Great Post. I am a new blogger and just started blogging. I want to move my blog from blogspot to wordpress. Can u suggest me a web hosting company who will give me best service in a low budget. Thanks. I am waiting for your response…

    1. Hi Shibam,

If you’re looking for a web host in the budget. Bluehost is a good choice to start. You can start for as low as $3.49/month. If you need my help feel free to get in touch through contact form. I’ll be there to help.

  15. Ammar, I am very new to blogging. I recently started a blog which is related to Personal Finance and Investments for youngers and new software engineers. I started my blog with Blogger and hosted a domain from GoDaddy. Now I wanted to migrate from Blogger to WordPress. But, I don’t know how to start with. Please suggest me how to start this migration process (from Blogger –> WordPress) . So far I am not facing any problems with GoDaddy . Do I need to choose any other hosting providers like InMotion or Bluehost? Any advantage will I get over GoDaddy? Because I am not getting any revenue from my website, suggest me economical way to migrate from Blogger to WordPress.
    Thanks
    Ravi Nama

    1. Ravi, that’s okay if you started with blogger. You are not facing any problem with Godaddy because you are just using their domain registration, not the hosting. Their hosting is worst.

So if you’re looking for a good host then my first suggestion would be InMotion, Bluehost second. Keep in mind that “money attracts money”.

  16. Hello Ammar,

Choosing a reliable webhost is a vital part of blogging. Last month i suffered a great deal of lost traffic when my host decided to take my blog down for about 3 days without any prior warning.

Would you advice a newbie to go for a foreign web host or a local web host?

    1. Hi Raphael!

Great question. I’ve had really bad experience when I started for the first time with the local host. But, I made a wise decision to invest some money and buy foreign top rated hosting. I suggest Bluehost and InMotion if you’re serious about taking your blog to next level.

  17. All the above-mentioned list are for the beginners and you have also mentioned hosting with cheap price. I am going to suggest to all my newly blogger friends to use Bluehost hosting which is available at very cheap rate.

  18. Too much of confusion to go with Bluehost, Now after reading your post I’m fully confident to go with bluehost. Thanks for the share bro

  19. Thanks man if was somewhat a relief for me to get some imformation on bluehost as i was planning buy its hosting services and got to now your site from one of my friend and so that i have landed up here and got some basic knowledge on bluehost and rather to say these days bluehost is the most used web hosting service all around the world.

  20. i was planning to move my blog to WordPress and i think bluehost is very reliable and trustworthy. Now my views are much clear to go for which WordPress hosting as i have seen that you have given difference between hosting service providers. Thank you very much for the valuable and important information about WordPress hosting. Please keep on writing.

    1. Hi Richa,

Glad to hear that you found what you are looking for. Did you know I provide free WordPress blog setup worth $197? You might be interested in checking it out here.

      1. Hi,My website is hosted with GoDaddy.I want to transfer it to another good webhosting.I will go for Bluehost. Thanks for sharing a detail article.

  21. I think BlueHost is best. I am recently using Godaddy but will use bluehost in the near future for my site. Need to check this atleast for once nice post though:)

  22. Hello Ammar,
Thanks for the true and awesome review about InMotion and Bluehost Hosting. Both of them are good and 100% trusted hosting provider for WP Site. But they are also little bit expensive then any other hosting such as HostGator, FatCow etc.

  23. Why are some WordPress Hosting so expensive?
    Is there really such a difference between something like Websynthesis.com ($47) Pagely.com (24$) or WpEngine (29$) and something like MyWoHo.com (1$) or Bluehost.com (3.5$)?

Or is the reason why most blogs list only companies like websynthesis, pagely or wpengine the fact that this companies earn 30-40 times what others earn and that they can spend this money in advertising?

  24. I can vouch for HostGator, they are certainly reliable and have good customer service reps that have excellent knowledge of the web hosting services they provide which is always a bonus if anything happens to your website. The HostGator control panel is also very easy to use with great features. I would also recommend iPage as ive been with them for several years without any issues. Have you ever tried iPage? What do you personally think of them? I look forward to your response.

  25. Hi Ammar,

For me, I will always recommend HostGator for cheap webhost service. Been with them since 2009, they never failed me until recently with the outbreak of server downs etc. I heard they are in the midst of getting everything finalized soon and hope to see more improvement there.

Bluehost is also a good choice and for dreamhost, I believe the coupon deal is unbeatable. If you can get a good coupon deal, then dreamhost is definitely your choice.

    At least, that’s what I think :)

    Thanks for sharing!

  26. Gurwinder Singh Bhinder

    Hi Ammar,

That was a great list of best and reliable web hosting providers. I feel Bluehost and Hostgator are the best one’s to start with. :)

  27. Hi,

That’s a great list of hosting companies for WP. For now, I find iPage as a great service for my needs and is very cheap!

    -Usamah

  28. Thanks for this post. I am planning to migrate to hostgator but it will take some efforts. Still, Godaddy is also going good with there hosting.

  29. Hey Ammar,
Nice post and currently I am using Hostgator and I think its good hosting provider. I heard lots good thing about bluehosting also but never used it. Thanks for sharing this post.

  30. I am using Hostgator and according to my experience, its the best ever hosting for any blog starter… Hostgator really Rocks.

  31. I am currently on blogger and trying to shift to wordpress. Since blogger provides free hosting therefore I am facing problems regarding hosting for wordpress. Hope this will help me to buy a suitable cheap hosting. Regards.

  32. Hi Ammar! You are really talented. I have read your posts and always find them really informative and helpful. Hosting always matters a lot. good work!

  33. Hi Ammar, thanks for your information. Previously we were using godaddy for our blog hosting. Since we use lots of images in our blog it use to take long time in loading the website. And it was really painful because every month our blog use to attacked by malicious script and we will pay and clear it. When we try to contact godaddy people, they will not even respond properly. After that we decided to go with hostgator hosting and now I feel relaxed. I highly recommend hostgator, though it is bit expensive but it is very much worth.

  34. I agree with you Ammar, the hosting providers you listed above are the best for wordpress. I am using Bluehost and Hostgator from an year and havn’t faced any issue with these two.

  35. Hi Ammar! Love this post! I’m glad I chose Hostgator, they definitely are reliable and totally agree with their live support. I happened to get one of their best deals last November and switched. This hosting site is definitely worth recommending to all bloggers who want to get serious with blogging.

  36. Another alternative is BlogDroid. Like WP Engine, they offer managed hosting but they are a little cheaper – and like Dreamhost they have an installer that makes it really easy for new WordPress users to get started. They also have automatic WordPress upgrades, the ability to create staging sites via a button and secure file permissions that work right out of the box.

  37. Dear Ammar,

Please confirm if I want to move from my local domain to Hostgator then whether it is a difficult process or easy? Furthermore, I want to know whether Hostgator providing any type of website security? Or Malware protection services with this package?
And how many domains I can host with above listed package 3.95/month for 3 year. If they are providing such type of services with then I will purchase it for at least 3 years. And I promise you, I will use your referral as you are my country blogger.

    1. It depends on package, The only BEST way to get your answer is use their live support. They’ll guide you a LOT better. :)

  38. I will go for Hostgator. Truly the best web hosting service. As you say, there live support is too awsome. They can solve your problem within no time and also the server is very fast too.
    Long Live Hostgator…!

  39. All the above mentioned hosting services are for beginner level users only. I found BlueHost to be most reliable and cheap hosting service when compared to HostGator. Tried Dreamhost but never got satisfied.

  40. I agree with you, Ammar. If anybody is serious about blogging, he/she should start with self-hosted blogging platform.

All the hosting you have mentioned are cheap as well as most trusted in the industry.

    Thanks!

  41. Hey as you said Choosing a best and cheap WordPress hosting is not an easy task because there are more than many WordPress hosting providers in the industry but some offers really noticeable services in cheap prices so what you think what should be the minimum cost of hosting offering unlimited Disk space and Bandwidth limit ?

    1. depends on hosting provider. But remember always choose reliable and top web hosting like bluehost or hostgator. Dream host is also good

  42. hey Ammar, how are you ? this is very important that choose a hosting provider for new blogger , so this is very helpful every new blogger ! thanks man

  43. HI Ammar,

I think choosing your WordPress hosting also depends on your location and your target audience. If your audience is essentially sub-continental, then it’s better that you choose a hosting service that has servers in the sub-continent.

My web host is HostGator and its servers are US-based. I can see in my Google Analytics that my site opens fast in US and Europe, and slow in the sub-continent. Also, since I’ve a shared hosting, I do suffer from its limitations and negative consequences when I’m flooded with traffic. otherwise, I’ve always has a great support from Hostgator, so I’d vouch for that.

Thanks for sharing, and have a nice day ahead :)

    1. Hi Harleena,

My web host is also Hostgator. I didnt faced any problem yet.

They’re too good at live support. I love it! :D

I’m using shared hosting baby plan.

      What about you?

      1. Definitely Ammar, Hostgator live chat support is great. I also use a shared hosting baby plan, and at least 3 times in the past 4 months my site was pulled down by Hosgator for periods extending up to 12 hours giving the reason that my site was using too much of their CPU resources. I’ve no choice but to continue with them because I do not experience any other problem and they’re very much approachable.

  44. Every one knows that hostgator is best but we should try some cheap hosting to get started and than afterwards migrate to professional one when we are established ?

  45. Dipankar Mondal

You have recommended this three wordpress hosting these are really very reliable for webmasters who would like to build their blog/website with wordpress. Some new bloggers are choosing blogspot because they are just new and they don’t have interest to spent some money about this purpose.
Also blogger is best but it requires much coding to customize template. Blogger who has best experience about html, xml, and javascript he can customize his blogspot blog easily. Rather than wordpress is very easy to use and customize. Thousands of themes and plugin makes it reliable for us.
So, wordpress is the best from my view and also I have found this host’s quality and helpful for bloggers.
    Thanks for this awesome recommendation:)

  46. Hi Ammar,
I am using Blue host, they are great. Customer support is 24/7 , I can ask them any question at any time and get an answer immediately through chatting.
The dashboard is well organized and full of options, I have used only few of those available!
Unfortunately I have registered to my web host months ago, but I do recommend Blue Host for new bloggers :)

    1. Same here Dima,

I also recommend bluehost, because they are reliable and affordable WP Hosting and it’s recommended by wordpress.org

And they also do offer free custom domain :D

  47. Hi Ammar,
I agree with you.Choosing a very cheap hosting will cause downtimes and problems like soft 404 error.I have bad experience with zyma read their hosting tragedy here
