5 Reasons Why Your Visitors Don’t Visit Your Blog Again

Imagine a one month old blog hitting thousands of visitors every day and a blog like yours (may be more than 6 month old) not getting much traffic or unique visitors?

How could you feel if that happens to your blog?

Your efforts, hard work all will vanish within a short time. If you don’t want to lose your first time readers or want to stick your old readers to your blog the best way is

READ the below content 😉

These are the major reasons to go away from your blog immediately. Don’t do these things and concentrate on overcoming them.

Why Your Visitors Don’t Visit Your Blog Again?

1. Boring content:

You are boring your readers terribly with your writing. OK you are working hard to develop your blog and updating it as often as possible though but it doesn’t mean your content is good enough.

You need to work hard to develop your writing skills, you have to make a habit of reading famous blogs to enhance your skills.content sucks
“Writing is the first esset for anyone who want to make their blog successful”, don’t you agree? It’s not only add value to your blog, but also creates a brand for you.
Don’t let your readers jump away to other blogs by having bad content or bad writing skills.

2. Bad blog design:

Most blog designs are terrible. I skipped many blogs just because they have bad design/theme even though good content. No one will be interested to read your blog for a long time, if you have awkward blog design.Make your blog look simple, minimal and make it easy to read.

If you have a good and appealing blog design then your readers or first time visitors will come back to your blog even though you have appealing content (not every time though)..So, make them stick to your blog by having a good blog design.

3. You have a really bi….g domain name:

What if you enter into a blog having a domain name like this..

www.barbaradoylesmysteryintrigueandmurderwknd.co.nz (it really is there, check out if you want)

Even if you are an Einstein you can’t remember this name.. 😉

Then how can your first time visitors remember and come to your blog again if you have such a long domain name??

Make your domain name short or buy a domain name which is easy to remember and type if you really want to build a profitable blog.

4. Bad navigation:

If you have a bad navigation for your blog then you are running in dark forest without having a lamp 😉

Your readers will easily run away from your blog if you don’t have proper navigation.

Quick ways to fix your bad blog navigation:-

  • Crazy fonts drive your readers crazy: Never use crazy fonts which are tough to read. Use easy to read fonts in your blog. And don’t make your font size too short or too big. Use medium font sizes and your readers should be convenient to read your content.
  • Don’t use too many sharing buttons: One proper plugin is enough to cover your blog content to easy to share. Moreover if you use too many sharing buttons if effects your blog loading time.

5. Not enough updates:

One other major reason for not getting unique visitors or leaving your blog immediately even the old readers is – you are not updating the blog often.

What if the same readers come to read your blog after 5 days and find the same content which you wrote on “How to Eat Human Brains Without Spoons” 😛

Will they read it again? They will go away immediately. So try to update your blog at least twice or thrice a week.

4 Reasons Your Blog Will Never Grow!

your blog sucks

First of all tell me why should anyone read your blog?

No idea?

Let me clear your doubt why should someone read your blog.

People read your blog to solve their problems not to listen your bragging!

Blogging is not only the best way to make money online but it also provide a better platform to share your opinions and to build a brand.

Isn’t it?

But only few bloggers succeed online. Well, most of the remaining bloggers quit blogging within 6 months, how terrible?

Ammar is very lucky as he had recently completed his 6 months blogging journey and published over 199 posts, this the 200th post which you are reading now!

Coming back to the point. Why your blog will never grow and what can you do to stop it? Ready?

4 Reasons Why Your Blog Will Never Grow

1. Mediocre content:

If you have pathetic content and writing style then no one will be interested to read your so called blog.

Create something that you will be proud of.

Don’t post just another posts to update your blog. No post is better than the worst post. And I know it’s bit difficult to create great content especially when you are just starting out.

All you have to do to create better content for your blog is: being helpful to your readers. Know your targeted audience first. Then try solving their problems.

How to know their problems then?

Good question which I always love to answer.

Try solving your own blogging problems! I will explain you more better here.

If you are just created a blog and thinking what to write in your first blog post, you can write “How to write your very first blog post”.

You can rank more better in Google if you are the first person to write on the trending hot topics!

At the end of the day, you must create compelling content, readers will come one or other day for sure!

2. Terrible design:

Invest some money on buying premium themes like Thesis or Genesis, their coding is so simpler and easy which can make your blog to take next level.

Make your readers easily to read your content. Don’t make your blog design complex! If you strain their eyes, they will go away.

If you can’t afford premium themes, just make use of minimalist themes like pagelines etc.

They look simple and easy to read the content without having any strain.

3. You don’t network:

Creating valuable content alone is not enough, you must network with others in your niche. Spend some time to respond to your comments, email others to read your content, be in touch with your readers etc.

Blogging becomes much easier when you have like minded people around your network. If you have unique tone and content, you can absolutely stand out from the crowd to make a difference.

You don’t need to be creative marketer to network with others. Just focus on Win/Win approach i.e give and take policy.

It works better when you network with others. Try to help them and solve their problems, surely you will make positive impact on them.

4. You spend time on wrong things!!

Instead of spending your time on blog commenting for 2 to 3 hours, spend that time to write quality guest posts for others. It can do wonders.

I’m not saying to stop blog commenting. But if you have less time to blog, spend time productively. And this is the best way to build your blog fast.

Guest blogging gives you:

  • Relationships with the author
  • Subscribers
  • You can steal their readers
  • Attract more traffic
  • Back links
  • You can be everywhere!

5 Things to Confirm You Are Still A New Blogger

Do you know what it makes a blogger professional blogger or newbie blogger? Professional blogger learns from his/her mistakes while the other one who never learns from their blogging mistakes is called a NEWBIE blogger.

Are you blogging from so many days or just started? Let’s check out whether you are newbie blogger or not…

#1. Looking At Stats All The Time:

This sounds to be crazy but its common for the newbie bloggers who check their traffic stats all the time. Stop checking it, or disable the plugin if you are using WP stats plugin. And don’t check your stats even in Google analytics!!

I agree that stats reveal your blogging success and progress but what’s the use if you stare at them always? Instead of checking all the time, set a proper time for checking your stats once in a day or at the weekends.

#2. Updating The Themes Thrice A Week:

Shocked? You will do this if you are a absolute beginner. You always like to change your theme at least once a week.

How to overcome: Stop chasing after updating the themes, concentrate on the quality content creation. My advice is use simple and minimal theme like this blog.

#3. Looking At Alexa Rank So Often:

Keep your head on the content creation, building network and getting traffic to your blog rather than looking at the alexa ranking system. What’s the use if you just sit and look at that widget or rank?? Will it change?

Otherwise try to increase your alexa by updating more often. The more you update, the chances of increasing your rank will be more. Install alexa rank widget and toolbar in your browser to increase your rank.

#4. You Feel Lazy to Write Regularly:

You should be consistent in writing/updating your blog. It’s not necessary to write one post/day though. But, you should always update your blog often. It’s needed if you want to succeed in blogging.

Keep one thing in mind that “Perfection is an illusion”. We all are humans, so strive not for the perfection, strive for the consistency. Don’t feel lazy to update your blog content.

#5. Not Proof Reading Your Posts Before Publishing:

You never check your blog posts before hitting the publish button. You are just so lazy to do that. After all who will read your blog, huh? Your mom, pet and you – isn’t it?

How to overcome: Make it a habit of re-checking your posts before you publish them to the world. If possible double check them and re-craft it until you feel satisfied. This makes your writing better and adds value to posts.

No one is more than you – think yourself as a professional blogger even if you are a newbie blogger and start doing the things. Learn from the successful bloggers in your niche and try to list out the top blogs in your niche and start commenting on them. You will notice the changes within few weeks.
